Christmas is coming soon so I guess everybody is now rushing to do some last minute Christmas shopping. The thing about Christmas is that it gives you a big excuse to do some shopping, including some shopping for some serious toys. In this article, I am going to write about some cool toys that you can get for Christmas. It is common sense that for those with babies, they can buy some cheap baby toys, while those with kids can buy some cheap kids toys. Hence I am going to talk about some cheap toys that you can get for the kids this Christmas. Have you ever heard of these toys known as Bakugan? That is right the word Bakugan does not have any meaning but is derived from a Japanese word. The word bakugan actually refers to the bakugan battle brawlers who have taken the toy world by storm. Bakugan cheap toys have been one of the best selling toys items that people can get this Christmas. I am so excited because of Christmas and I just love new toys. The thing is the toy makers are so creative and keep on coming up with new and creative toys that are not only cheap but also cool and fun to play with. The bakugan battle brawler toys is one such example. Though it is not a new toy and has already been in the market for some time, it would seem that these bakugan cheap toys have stood their ground and remained quite popular, though there is only a simple cartoon series helping to draw kids attention. Then of course there are the occasional advertisements on the television but I think word of mouth may have the way these toys have kept being a popular favourite of kids. So merry christmas to all!

I know you need to please your kids this holiday season and I know that buying them something they can not use that very day will be pointless to them. The Generation 1 Transformers toys are a huge favorite among collectors.  Anyone can get their hands on a new Transformers toy but it takes some digging, skill and diligence to find rare G1 Transformers toys.

Another option for fans of the G1 series of Transformers are the Transformers Masterpiece line of toys that were released earlier this decade.  Many fans love these toys as they are very well built, like the original G1 toys, and they have the same look and feel of the original line of toys as well.  There are not very many options when it comes to the Masterpiece line of Transformers toys but the few that are available are very classy toys and fun to transform!

As of this writing, there are seven Transformers that have been created for the Masterpiece line.  These seven are considered the most popular of the original G1 line of toys that were released in the 80′s.  It is important to note that there are still Masterpiece Transformers being released every few years or so, thus this list may be out of date soon.  The seven that have been released so far are:  Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ultra Magnus, Starscream, Grimlock, Thundercracker, and Skywarp.

Of course there is an Optimus Prime Masterpiece toy that has been released.  Optimus looks just like his classic self, only he is a little bit bigger.  Optimus also has a little more detail to him but he does not have his trailer to him in the first version.  Instead there is only a cardboard cutout that is used mostly for display purposes.  There was a bit of fan backlash on that point so a second Masterpiece Optimus was released to the delight of hard core enthusiasts.  This one includes the die cast trailer for Optimus to lug around.  Most do not use the trailer when playing with Optimus but it is certainly good for display.

Kids karaoke machines are a great form of entertainment for children of all ages.  Most kids love music and to sing, dance and otherwise entertain themselves as well as friends and family.  These toys are also a great way to help a child expand on their vocabulary and reading skills by learning to read the lyrics to their favorite songs when they are displayed across the television screen.

Up until the 1860s dolls were made of glazed porcelain and were referred to as china dolls. Then the Bisque porcelain dolls were introduced. These dolls were made from unglazed porcelain. The Bisque dolls have a life like skin tone and the bodies are usually made of cloth or leather.

During the early 20th century a new doll hit the scene. Composition is a mixture of glue and sawdust, which can be molded. This material is heavier than paper Mache and had been used for making the bodies of the Bisque dolls for a while. From 1909 to the 1950′s composition was used to create the doll heads as well. These composition dolls overtook the Bisque dolls in popularity because they were more durable.

The demise of the composition dolls began in the 1940′s when the hard plastic dolls were introduced. These dolls didn’t break when you dropped them and the finish didn’t get ruined when they got wet. The hard plastic gave way to vinyl dolls.

In the 1960′s Barbie hit the scene and fashion dolls were born. Today there are many fashion dolls. But Barbie is still the reining queen. The first Barbie ever made was made from hollow vinyl. The modern Barbie is still a combination of plastic and vinyl.

There were many Barbie copycats and knock offs and fashion dolls haven’t gone out of style. It seems young girls would prefer to play with dolls that are like real girls instead of playing with baby dolls.

When the Wii first came out, it revolutionized the console gaming arena, allowing you to use your motions to control what was going on screen.  Games like Dance Dance Revolutions, and even the old Nintendo Track & Field all had similar aspects but it was never as good as the Wii ended up being.  Then, the Wii Fit came out and revolutionized the “video game fitness” category.  Then, many games were coming out that incorporated fitness into their routines.  A mix of these two is Your Shape Wii, a game that includes a camera that can track your motions and give you real time feedback for your workouts.

The demo videos and the trailer for Your Shape Wii show you being able to easily choose which type of workout you would like to do and what areas of your body you would like to focus on in order to maximize your workout.  Then, it shows you the correct way to do each of the workouts and it provides a ghost body layout transposed over your image on screen, and it notifies you when your body matches the guide on screen so that you know you are doing the workout properly.  Having real time feedback for any type of fitness activity is important because if you are doing it wrong you are just wasting time.  That is why I think the Your Shape is going to be good.

The reason I think it may bomb is because of the limited amount of workouts that are available due to the nature of video games and only being able to fit so much information on the DVD that has the game on it.  People will get bored with the workouts, especially once they are able to get the motion down pat thanks to the real time feedback.

Another drawback is the price.  Because it includes the camera which is essential for the game, the price goes up.  I think it will do alright but I doubt it will be anywhere near the popularity of the Wii Fit.

This Christmas may be a little tough financially and so you could use a toy discount, every little bit helps these days.
